Privacy Policy

CMFAS KAKI ("we", "us" or "our") provides this website and the CMFAS KAKI mobile app. This policy explains how information is handled across those two services.

1. Website revision planner

Your selected modules, exam date and study pace are processed in your browser to build the revision planner. When you mark a session complete, its session identifier is kept in browser local storage on that device. This saved progress is not uploaded to us and does not require an account.

If you create a share link, the planner settings are placed in the link. Anyone who receives that link can read and use those settings. The website removes the planner settings from the page URL before an Analytics event is sent. Copy, calendar-download and print actions are also generated in your browser.

You can remove saved progress by unchecking completed sessions or by clearing this website's stored site data in your browser. Clearing browser data, using another browser or changing device may remove or make that progress unavailable.

2. Website analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the website is used. Vercel describes this service as anonymous and aggregated, without third-party cookies or cross-site tracking. Depending on the event, it may process the page path, referring page, approximate country or region, browser, operating system and device type.

We also record limited website actions such as opening a guide, building a plan or using a planner action. These custom events use generic content and action labels, not names, email addresses or account identifiers.

A first-party Core Web Vitals event may send the page path and performance measurements for LCP, INP and CLS, together with their ratings, in an anonymous sample. It helps us find slow or unstable pages. Planner settings and the internal QA parameter are removed from Analytics URLs before transmission.

3. Mobile app information

To provide and improve the mobile app, we may process the following types of information:

  • Study data: answer history, incorrect questions and mock-exam scores used to show progress and power the wrong-answer review feature.
  • Device information: such as device model and operating-system version, used to optimise app performance.
  • Usage data: such as feature usage and crash reports, used to improve the experience.

4. How we use information

We use information handled by the services to:

  • Provide and maintain website and app features.
  • Understand performance and improve the learning experience.
  • Respond to your feedback or enquiries.

5. Service providers

Vercel hosts this website and provides Web Analytics. Firebase and Cloudflare may support mobile-app features and delivery. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies while providing services to us.

6. Contact and security

If you email us, we receive the address and information you include so that we can respond. We take reasonable measures to protect information from unauthorised access, use or disclosure, but no internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.

7. Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a parent believes their child has provided personal information, please contact us to have it removed.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page, so we encourage you to review it periodically.
