For trainers and financial-advisory teams

Start with one cohort.
Find what needs teaching.

A seven-day RES 5 learning pilot for a small group: diagnose a few advisory concepts, discuss the decisions and practise again. Choose the cohort size that your trainer can review personally.

What the pilot includes

The website diagnostic, explanations and fresh-question checks are free and need no learner account. This starter plan and the blank report below help a trainer run the sessions manually. App access is managed individually; contact us to discuss a cohort arrangement.

The diagnostic samples advisory decisions. It does not cover the full RES 5 syllabus, predict exam results or provide an official certificate.

A practical seven-day plan

  1. Day 1

    Find the starting point

Each learner completes the free ten-question RES 5 diagnostic. Record only the cohort totals and the two most common review areas.

  2. Day 2–3

    Discuss the reasoning

Use the explanations to discuss suitability, cash needs and disclosure. Ask learners to explain why each distractor fails.

  3. Day 4–5

    Practise one paper

Learners work from their current SCI study text and their own RES 5 practice access. The app has a free trial allowance; further access is a separate purchase.

  4. Day 6

    Check with fresh scenarios

Use the fresh-question checks after the diagnostic. These are small learning checks, not a validated pre/post assessment.

  5. Day 7

    Decide on the next cohort

Review participation, recurring misconceptions and learner feedback. Discuss any access arrangement with us before committing to a wider rollout.

Report the group, not individuals

Use anonymous totals: invited, participated, completed and the concepts needing discussion. Keep names, policy details and client information out of the shared report. Collect only the information your cohort has agreed to share.
